A National Skill Development Policy was launched in 2009 with the aim of skilling 500 million persons by 2022. Under the National Plan, the State of Uttar Pradesh aims to skill over 4 million youth by the end of the 12th Five Year Plan. In order to achieve this target and provide employable skills to the youth of the State, the Uttar Pradesh Skill Development Mission (UPSDM) has been instituted. Based on the learnings and experiences of other states, the Government of Uttar Pradesh has developed a unique structure for UPSDM. UPSDM acts as an integrated mission which combines the efforts of various State Departments in achieving the skill development targets for the State. UPSDM is the implementing agency for skill development targeted at enhancing employability in Uttar Pradesh, subsuming the targets of various State Departments such as Rural Development, Urban Development, Labour, Minority Welfare, Social Welfare, etc. Established in 2013; mandated to coordinate all skill development initiatives, leveraging on State Skill Development Policy, UPSDM empanelled Private Training Partners in addition to Govt. Training Partners for conducting skill development trainings.
CTED has been proudly associated since 2013 as a Large Training Partner Uttar Pradesh Skill development Mission. CTED has consistently maintained an 'A' category rating in the Mission's evaluations for both training and placement. Our efforts are currently spread across 12 districts in Uttar Pradesh: Amethi, Sultanpur, Pratapgarh, Raebareli, Barabanki, Prayagraj, Ayodhya, Hardoi, Budaun, Shahjahanpur, Ambedkarnagar, and Jaunpur. We have Stabilised More than 46 Centre in the different district of Uttar Pradesh Under this scheme, with the 102 Highly Qualified skill team , we have stabilised separate 12 Placement offices across the India including Noida , Banglaur, Himanchal Pradesh , Lucknow, Mumbai ,and Uttrakhand etc..
To date, we have successfully trained over 25,000 youth and facilitated their placements across various sectors throughout the country, currently total 18698 candidates have Placed or started self-business under this scheme . Our training programs cover a wide range of trades, including Healthcare, Apparel, Electronics, Telecom, Retail, Electrical, Power, IT & ITES, Construction, Agriculture, and Leather Goods.

I went to the DPMU office and collected all the detail about the training programmes running in the district. I enrolled myself for the training in Sampling Tailor course After completing the training I got a job at RPS Group of Industries in Gujarat. Presently, I am working there as SMO and earning Rs. 13000/-

Laxmi Tiwari gets new direction after receiving employment training The Uttar Pradesh government is providing skill training to the youth and providing them opportunities to become employment and self -reliant. Lakshmi Tiwari, a resident of Amethi district, had received skill training under the skill training scheme being run by the Uttar Pradesh government and today she is working as a Machine Operator and a machine operator. Laxmi Tiwari village Koilara Mubarakpur is a resident of Jagdishpur district Amethi. She was from an ordinary family but had a desire to contribute financially in advancing her family from the beginning. Lakshmi Tiwari was educated but due to lack of complete knowledge of sewing and string, he could not get the right job in which he could work freely Laxmi Tiwari's expectations found a new ray when she came to know about the skill development center of her own region. Laxmi Tiwari was told that the skill development center is in Jagdishpur, there is free employment training. Laxmi Tiwari then went to the skill development center and inquired about the training trades being conducted there. Lakshmi Tiwari took a course of traditional hand Mabroidari under the Apareal Sector through the Skill Development Center. The duration of this course was 157 days which was completely free. After this, he contacted the center in -charge of the Skill Development Mission in Gauriganj and got detailed information about the program and enrolled in General Duty Assistant Course of Health Care, after 06 months training, the executive body was interviewed in McBel Keya Hospital Gauriganj, the interview was interviewed by the executive body, the McBel was interviewed.
