The organization has conducted various programme related to entrepreneurship development and Placement based vocational / trades based skill up gradation programme in different part of Uttar Pradesh. CTED has furnished documented details of the following projects which are underway and funded by various government institutions. Some of them can be listed as below
 Department of Science & Technology (DST)- GOI:-
 Innovation- Science & Technology Entrepreneurship Development (STED Sultanpur) Programme (i-STED

This is a five year programme, sponsored by Dept. of Science & Technology, Government of India. The programme is being implemented at Uttar Pradesh. Through the project the organization is promoting innovation based Leather, Food & Brass metal sector micro- enterprises in different parts of Uttar Pradesh. Within span of Five year the organization has promoted more than 15 innovation & 250 new enterprises.

 Science & Technology Entrepreneurship Development Programme
This is a four year programme, sponsored by Dept. of Science & Technology, Government of India. The programme is being implemented at Sultanpur. It is a four year project sponsored by Department of Science & technology, Govt. of India. Through the project the organization has supported more than 400 micro enterprises in establishment / modernization of units in rural & urban level. The program was executed at Sultanpur, Faizabad, Barabanki & Amethi.

 Skill Upgradation training for selected youth of SC/ST

It is a three years program supported by Department of Science & Technology for selected 360 youth of SC / ST community. Under the scheme the youth would be trained in Plumbing & Electrician trades and after the training they would involve either as on wage employment or self-employment.

 Skill Upgradation Programme in Fruit processing

The eight weeks skill–upgradation programme on fruit processing was sponsored by DST (Department of science & technology, government of India). Under the programme the training was imparted to fifty rural males. After training they have formed three Kissan clubs under guidance of NABARD & Bank.

 Skill Upgradation Programme in Vermi-Composting at Pratapgarh

Two months training programme on vermi composting was conducted for selected 25 rural candidates. The programme was sponsored by Dept. of Science & Technology, Govt. of India. Under the training 200 participants were trained about new processing technique of vermi composting.
 Skill Upgradation Programme in Computer Hardware repair & maintenance
The two months programme on Computer hardware repaire & maintenance was conducted at Silver line computer center in Sultanpur. The programme was sponsored by Dept. of Science & technology, Govt. of India. The training was imparted to 120 male & female candidates. The candidates were selected by a committee.

 Skill Upgradation Programme in Bee Keeping & Honey Processing (5 Training program):- The scheme of skill training through Department of Science & Technology it sponsored eight weeks training programme on Bee Keeping & Honey processing. The training was imparted to selected thirty participants at Raniganj in Sultanpur in association Acharya Narendra Dev Agriculture University, Kumarganj Faizabad. After training most of participants have started their bee keeping units.120 (One hundred twenty) candidates have been trained at four places in association with Acharya Narendra Dev Agriculture University, Kumarganj Faizabad.
After the programme at Gunnaur, Pindara & Makdoompur, Kisan clubs at each place have been formed. At Poore prahalad pur, twenty six participants have received financial support through Kisan Credit card. Full financial support was given by Bank of Baroda.
 Skill Upgardation Programme in Sutali Processing: – Under the scheme of skill training through science & technology of Department of Science & Technology, had sponsored eight weeks training programme on Sutali processing. The training was imparted to selected thirty rural candidates at Shukul Bazar in Sultanpur in association with Sutali processing center Shukul Bazar (Sultanpur). After training most of participants has started their Sutali processing unit.

 Skill Upgradation Programme on Two wheelers Auto Mobile repair:- Eight weeks programme on two & four wheelers auto mobile repair & maintenance was organized at the campus of institute. The programme was sponsored by Dept. of Science & Technology, Govt. of India for selected 30 candidates. The programme was conducted with support from Vocational Training Center, Jan Seva trust, Jagdishpur (Sultanpur).

 Skill Upgradation Programme on Motor winding: – One week skill upgradation programme was organisaed at the campus of Institute for selected 20 rural candidates. The programme was sponsored by Khadi & Village Industry Commission (KVIC), Lucknow. The training was imparted in collaboration with Sanjay Gandhi Polytechnic, Jagdishpur, Sultanpur. After the programme most of the participants got financed from bank under REGP scheme of KVIC. After the training programme the tool kits were also distributed to participants.

 Science & Technology Entrepreneurship Development (STED Sultanpur) Programme: – This is a four year programme, sponsored by Dept. Of Science & Technology, Government of India. The programme is being implemented at Sultanpur. The organization has office at Sultanpur and conducting various programmes in the whole district. Through the project the organization is promoting various types of micro- enterprises in different parts of district. In FY the organization has conducted many short term skills up gradation programme and within span of one year the organization has promoted more than sixty micro enterprises.

 Bee Keeping Project: – It was three project supported by department of Science & technology, govt. of India. Through the project the organization has supported more than 720 farmers in the field of Bee keeping & Honey processing in rural areas.

 Skill development training in four trades related to rural development for 120 candidates, each for three months duration @ 30 candidates in each trade with support from Department of science & technology, Govt. of India.
 Skill development training in five trades related to rural development for 150 candidates, each for three months duration @ 30 candidates in each trade with support from Department of science & technology, Govt. of India.

 Skill development training in four trades related to rural development for 120 selected women, each for two months duration—-supported by Department of Science & technology, Govt. of India.

 EDII – NSTEDB, DST GOI:-
o Entrepreneurship Development Programme (16 EDP): – Six weeks entrepreneurship development programme was sanctioned by Department of Science & Technology, Government of India. Under the programme the training was imparted to selected 480 candidates (16 EDP) of science & technology background. The training was imparted at Different location of Uttar Pradesh. After the training, most of the participants have been establishing their own units at their locations.

o Entrepreneurship Awareness Camp (98 EACs): – Three Days Entrepreneurship Awareness Camp programme was sanctioned by Department of Science & Technology, Government of India. Under the programme the training was imparted to selected 7100 candidates (98 EACs) of science & technology background. The training was imparted at different district places of U.P. After the training, most of the participants have been establishing their units at their locations.

o Women Entrepreneurship Development Programme (18 WEDP): – Six weeks women entrepreneurship development programme was sanctioned by Department of Science & Technology, Government of India. Under the programme the training was imparted to selected 540 candidates (18 WEDP) of science & technology background. The training was imparted at different district places of U.P. After the training, most of the participants have been establishing their units at their locations.

o Technical Entrepreneurship Development Programme (21 TEDP): – Six week technical entrepreneurship development programme in different trades was conducted at a different district places of U.P. Through the programme 525 candidates have been trained. After training most of the participants have been establishing their units at their locations.

o Faculty Development Programme (21 FDP): – Two weeks Faculty development programme was sanctioned by Department of Science & Technology, Government of India. Under the programme the training (4 FDP) was imparted to selected 100 (Hundred) faculty of science & technology background in different Institution’s, College’s, University & NGOs sector. The training was imparted at different district places of U.P. After the training, most of the participants have been establishing their units at their locations.

 Department of Bio-Technology (DBT)- G.O.I.

 Bee Keeping Project: – It was supported by department of Bio–technology, govt. of India. Through the project the organization has supported more than 1200 farmers in the field of Bee keeping & Honey processing in rural areas.
 Value Addition on Amla & Fruit Vinegar: – It is a three year program supported by Department of Bio-Technology for selected 600 rural youth. Under the scheme the rural youth would be trained in Value addition on Amla & production of fruit vinegar and after the training they would involve either as on wage employment or self-employment.

 Biotechnological intervention for employment generation through Bee keeping & vermicomposting production technology: – Project supported by department of Bio-technology, govt. of India. Through the project the organization has supported more than 2000 farmers in the field of Honey processing in the rural areas. Organization support through skill training of rural youth bio technological based production of Honey.

 National Bank for Agriculture & Rural Development (NABARD)

 Intensive Cluster Development Programme for Amla Processing at Pratapgarh: – Under cluster development scheme NABARD has taken initiative for development of growers & processors of Amla under intensive mode. It is five years program and is still in process. The organization is working as a cluster development Agency for cluster development.

 Development of Jagdishpur Leather Craft Cluster under Participatory Mode: – Under participatory mode NABARD has selected leather cluster for development in three years. The organization is working as a cluster development agency for the scheme.

 Skill upgradation program: – Two months Skill upgradation program in Pottery development at Chunar in Mirzapur district, supported by NABARD.

 Rural Entrepreneurship development program: – Six weeks Rural Entrepreneurship development program for leather artisans at Gauriganj in Sultanpur.

 REDPs: – Three REDPs, two in Leather products and one for brass ware products each of six weeks duration, supported by NABARD.

 Rural Entrepreneurship development program in district Jail Sultanpur

 Rural Mart: – Under the Rural Mart Scheme through NABARD Supported marketing of Different SHG, Processors & Artisans Product in a market. The organization will arrange and provide the Marketing facility of SHG, Processors & Artisans Groups.

 Resource Support Agency- Producer Organization Promoting Institution (POPIs)- Under the project promotion Capacity Building, Nurturing and Overall development of Farmer Producer Organization (FPO) was organized on the Pratapgarh District, State of UP.

 United Nation Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO)
Transfer of Technology in Amla processing at Sindhudurg (Maharashtra), supported by UNIDO, New Delhi.
 Khadi Village Industries Commission (KVIC)

 Rural Industries Service Centre: – Under RISC scheme, KVIC (Khadi & Village Industry commission) supported the establishment of centre for repair & maintenance of electrical items. Under the scheme the organization would provide finishing facility for the rural artisans involved in repair & maintenance of electrical items.

 District Rural Development Agency (DRDA)

 BPL Family member’s trade’s wise training programme: – Under the SGSY Scheme through to cover 5 blocks of Sultanpur district trained the different trades based 800 BPL families Members in rural areas. The sectors selected for training are computers, mason, electrical, plumbing, retail Marketing, etc. The organization will impart special training to the selected youth. After completion of training the organization will arrange and provide pre and final skill examination and 90% placement in different company.
 Marketing & Facility Center of Bee Keeping:- Under the SGSY Scheme through to cover a block of Sultanpur district, and train the Bee Keeping & Honey processing based 200 BPL families Members in rural areas. The organization will impart special training to the selected youth. After completion of training the organization will arrange and provide the Marketing facility of Honey product. After the training, most of the participants are in the process of establishing their units at their locations.
 SARAS Showroom: – Under the SGSY Scheme SARAS DRDA Supported marketing of Different SHG Product in a market. The organization will arrange and provide the Marketing facility of SGSY product.

 Mahila Kalyan Nigam, Govt. of Uttar Pradesh
 Women Soft Toys Making Training Programme: – A training was organized with the support of Mahila Kalyan Nigam, Lucknow on the Soft Toys Making programme. About 30 women participants were trained on soft toys making .The training was conducted at Amethi for a period of 30 days. After completion of training programme CTED provides the Escort service through 14 women participants are linkages in Self employment & 8 women participants are linkages in job services. The production started immediately and soon the 14 participants also received order for 110 soft toys. The process thus started and presently CTED has been successful in producing different varieties and samples at a very low cost. Sale of soft toys was done to NABARD Rural Mart & DRDA SARAS Show room & V-Mart Centre.

 Department of Panchayati Raj- Backward Region Grant Fund, Govt. of Uttar Pradesh: –

• Capacity Building & Training of ERs of PRI in CSM Nagar, Faizabad & Ambedkar Nagar:-
CTED undertook a survey in the backward areas of Uttar Pradesh to understand the capacity of the Gram Panchayats, so as to help design a comprehensive training for the capacity building of Gram Panchayat members.
The Eleventh Plan, which has identified inclusive growth as its core vision seeks to ‘substantially empower and use PRIs as the primary means of delivery of essential services that are critical to inclusive growth.’
The PRI as an institution has been empowered to plan and implement different programs and projects for holistic development of the area through participation of the people. At an operational level, the largest inflow of resources to State Governments is through the UNDP & Centrally Sponsored Schemes (UNDP-CSSs). These UNDP-CSSs largely cover sectors like primary education, public health, drinking water, sanitation, etc. identified in the Eleventh Schedule for devolution to Panchayats. PRI functionaries are to prepare Holistic convergent District Plan for BRGF for their areas through participatory approaches. Gram Panchayat has critical role in implementation of different national level programs like MNREGA, BRGF, MDM, SSA, NRHM etc.
 New focus area:- Apart from implementing the regular programs the functionaries need to be oriented on new areas and issues such as
A. Implementation of Model Panchayat and Gram Swaraj Act 2009.
B. Environmental Sustainability to develop Green Panchayat
C. Natural resource based Sustainable Livelihood planning, Agri Business and Marketing
D. Nyaya Panchayat Bill for dispute settlement
E. Thus the functionaries need to change their functioning of “business as usual” and need to be more pro active and innovative.

 To develop an understanding of gram sabha as an institution of direct democracy is to be strengthened and transparency in budgeting and legal provision in Panchayat Raj to be stressed.

 International Labour Organization (ILO):-
The International Labour Organization (ILO) launched the Start & Improve Your Business (SIYB) programme in India and operate with associate (Centre of technology & Entrepreneurship Development- CTED) in the following states: Phase I – Uttar Pradesh (Sonbhadra and other districts- Amethi, Faizabad & Pratapgarh) & Bihar – Sitamarhi District.
The SIYB programme is a management-training programme with a focus on starting and improving small businesses as a strategy to create more and better jobs in developing economies and economies in transition. The SIYB programme is globally recognized as an ILO trademark. It has been introduced in over 100 countries and has generated a network of 17,000 certified trainers and 200 master trainers globally.

 Nuclear Power Corporation of India (CSR) – GOI: – Under CSR, Identification & Improvement of the three areas – Education, Health & Infrastructure.
1. Placement linked Skill development activities- NPCIL, RR Site, Rawatbhata Rajasthan:- Under the Placement linked skill development activities through to be covered Rawatbhata block chittrogarh District of Rajasthan and trained the 03 trades- Tailoring, Welder & Mason based 240 Youth under age 18 to 35 years in rural & urban areas.
2. Comprehensive Baseline Survey – Under Project of Tarapur Atomic Power Station (TAPS) we will conduct the comprehensive Base line survey of various CSR project of TAPSon 15 km radius of TAPS.

 Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) – Planning Commission- GOI:
The Undertaking of demographic and biometric data collection for UID enrolment on the state of Uttar Pradesh & Uttaranchal is (No. of UID enrolment- 22, 00,000).

 State Urban Development Agency (SUDA), Govt. Of Uttar Pradesh: –
 “STEP-UP” Training Programme: – Skill training to Urban Poor under the STEP-UP of SJSRY in selected 10 districts in 58 trades.
 Social Mobilization & Institutional Development (SM&ID): – Empanelment of Resource organization for Social Mobilization & Institutional Development (SM&ID), National Urban Livelihood Mission (NULM) ,SM&ID organization formation & handholding support of 278 Urban SHGs in district Amethi, Pratapgarh & Mirazapur Uttar Pradesh as a Resource Institution Orgaization formation and Handholding support to the 200 Urban SHGs (Amethi -120 SHGs, & Mirzapur – 146 SHGs).
 Employment through Training and Placement (EST&P): Under EST&P Scheme through to be covered 1 District of Uttar Pradesh (Amethi), and trained the different trades based 500 Urban Youths under age18 to 35 years in urban areas in 3 sectors & 03 Courses selected for training.

 Small Farmers’ Agribusiness Consortium (SFACs), Department of Agriculture and Cooperation, GOI: – Promoting Farmer Producer Organization (FPOs) in Uttar Pradesh State.

 Ministry of Minority Affairs:
 Nai Roshni – Ministry of Minority Affairs G.O.I.:- Leadership Development Progarmme of 600 Minority women in selected Amethi & Barbanki district. The training programme could generate huge awareness about women leadership & trained about legal issue of women.
 Nai Manzil: The Project Objective is to improve completion of secondary education with formal education and certification up to level 8th or 10th through National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) and market-driven skills training for targeted youth from Minority communities.
 Earn & Learn: – Under the Placement linked skill development activities through to be covered Amethi, Sultanpur, Barabanki & Raebareli District of Uttar Pradesh and trained the 03 trades- Hand Embroidery, Electrician Domestic & BPO-Non Voice based 500 Minority Youths under age 18 to 40 years in rural & urban areas

 Department of Vocational Education and Skill Development, Govt. of Uttar Pradesh
 Uttar Pradesh Skill Development Mission (UPSDM), :- Skill & Placement Programme – Under the Skill & Placement Scheme through to cover 5 Districts of Uttar Pradesh (Amethi, Raibarely, Barabanki, Pratapgarh & Sultanpur), and trained the different trades based 10,000 Youth under age18 to 35 years in rural & urban areas in the 05 sectors & 08 Courses selected for training.

 Ministry of Rural Development, G.O.I.
 Aajeevika Skills Project (DDU-GKY):- Skill & Placement Programme – Under the Skill & Placement Scheme through to be covered Amethi District of Uttar Pradesh and trained the 05 different trades based 1296 Youth under age 18 to 35 years in rural & urban areas. After completion of training the organization will arrange and provide pre and final skill examination and 70% placement in different company.

 Ministry of Sport & Youth Affairs:
 Rajiv Gandhi national Institute of Youth Development (RGNIYD) – Empanelment of NGOs to Collaborate with RGNIYD for youth & Sport promotion. Under the Project implementation, 02 Training programme of 100 SC Youth on Capacity Building training through Employability Skill of SC Youth at District Amethi & Barabanki was organized.

 Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment-Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities:-
Empanelment as training partner for skill development of persons with disability – Under the Skill training through to be covered Uttar Pradesh state and trained the different trades based 650 & 100 disability Youth under age 18 to 35 years in rural & urban areas. The 3 sectors & 04 Courses selected for training. After completion of training the organization will arrange and provide pre and final skill examination and 50% placement in different company.

 Uttar Pradesh State AIDS Control Society (UPSACS)-Govt, of U.P.:- Providing Services for Targeted Interventions (TI) in Selected Gazipur districts in the State of Uttar Pradesh.
– Uttar Pradesh State AIDS Control Societies (UPSACS) has been supporting for this project to operate in Gazipur district with a target population of 200 FSWs & 100 MSMs & 200 IDUs. In the project area 12 hot spot locations has been identified by the project staff and proposed consistently service, follow up and counselling to HRGs and STI, HIV infected person. Correct and consistent uses of condom, referral and linkages, outreach services and stigma reduction with community mobilisation proposed regular activities of the project.
– High Risk Groups (HRGs): – There are three High Risk Groups , otherwise referred to as HRGs (HRGs) in order to reduce stigma towards them. These HRGs are female sex workers (FSWs), high-risk men who have sex with men and transgender (MSM and TGs), and injecting drug users (IDUs). Through the TIs under NACP III these populations receive a comprehensive package of preventive services. State AIDS Control Societies (SACS) will be expected to saturate coverage of these groups before moving on to cover other groups.
1 Targeted Intervention In Gazipur District core composite TIs projects are being implemented by CTED to reduce the rate of HIV transmission among FSWs, IDUs, and MSMs.

 Men having Sex with Men (MSMs)- 100 No.
 and Injecting Drug Users (IDUs)- 200 No.
